FIK-803-0005 Sita Multipoint ASD I/O Interface Boxed Module (V3). A multifunction auxiliary I/O unit mounted within a single gang box for local use at the detector. Relay output to provide shutdown facilities with 30V DC 0.5A rated SPCO relay contacts and monitored input facility. Connects to the Multipoint ASD Detector.
The Multipoint I/O module provides an interface between ancillary devices and the loop via a detector. Configure it as an input to report from other systems/devices or as an output to control external systems. Implement digital communication technology to the control panel for accurate data transfer at high transmission speeds.
The I/O unit must be installed in compliance with the control panel installation manual. The installation must also meet the requirements of any local authority. Mount the module securely and ensure the device is accessible for future maintenance.
Install all wiring according to recommendations from local authorities and any special instructions in the control panel installation manual. Use 2-core, 1.5mm² screened, fire-resistant cabling and connect the module only to a suitable Multipoint Detector. Take care when terminating devices to sleeve all cables correctly and secure connections properly. Improper connections will prevent a system from responding properly in the event of a fire.
Connect the I/O Unit after completing all cabling tests and proving continuity and insulation. Perform all high voltage testing before installing the electronics to avoid damaging them.
