FIK-803-0022 Sita Loop Control Module. An addressable monitored output unit mounted with a standard double gang box. Provides a single 24vdc monitored output suitable for the control of conventional sounders and visual alarm devices. Connects to the addressable loop. Requires a 24vvdc EN54 PSU.
The Loop Monitored Output module provides an interface between ancillary devices and the loop. It can be configured as an output to control external devices or systems that require a 24VDC trigger that also monitors the cable condition between the module
and device. Implement digital communication technology to the control panel for accurate data transfer at high transmission speeds. This device includes a loop short-circuit isolator.
Install the monitored output module according to the control panel installation manual. The installation must also meet the requirements of any local authority. Mount the module securely and ensure the device is accessible for future maintenance.
Install all wiring according to recommendations from local authorities and any special instructions in the control panel installation manual. Use 2-core, 1.5mm² screened, fire-resistant cabling and wire it as a screened 2-core loop returning to the control panel. Do not use spurs in this system. Take care when terminating devices to sleeve all cables correctly and secure connections properly. Improper connections will prevent a system from responding properly in the event of a fire.
