How to share your Device with EZview
This guide and video below will show you how to share a Device using EZview.
First, open the EZview app on your device, login with your details and check the live view.
There are two methods to share your device with the EZview.
Method one: Share device with an EZcloud Account
Tap on the “Devices” tab and tap on the device you wish to share, then on the next screen tap “Share”. You will now input the username of the account you wish to share to, or the email address that account is linked to. You can also set how long the device will be shared for and the permissions of the account. Once you’ve selected the sharing time and permissions, tap the “Share” button below these settings. You can now login with the account details the device has been shared to, check the “devices” tab to make sure the device has been successfully shared to that account, and then check the live view to make sure you’re getting live video feed.
Method two: Share device with the QR code
Tap on the “Devices” tab and tap on the device you wish to share, tap “Share” on the next screen, and tap “QR Code” on the following screen. Input a sharing password that you will remember, and tap the “Generate” button. Now you can share the QR Code by Email, Skype, WhatsApp etc. Now you can login into the account the device will be shared to, tap on the “Devices” tab, then tap on the “+” symbol in the top right hand corner of the screen, tap “Scan”, and scan the QR Code on the following screen. Once the QR Code has been scanned you will need to enter the sharing password you generated earlier. Once entered tap “OK” and check the “Devices” tab to make sure the device has been successfully added. Finally check the live view to make sure you’re getting live video feed.
